The Clinicians

  • DR KINGSTON SOO

    DENTIST & PROPRIETOR

Dr Kingston Soo is a long time local of Sydney’s Inner West, attending Summer Hill Public School and Fort Street High School. Dr Soo completed dentistry at the University of Sydney in 2003.

His first six years as a dentist was spent working in Orange, where he developed a special interest in extracting wisdom teeth. He moved to the Shire and continued working in a private practice, before deciding to open his own surgery, Summer Hill Smiles, in Sydney’s Inner West.

Although he enjoys improving the smiles of patients through cosmetic dentistry, Dr Soo adopts a preventive long term approach where regular brushing is the best foundation of a great smile! In his spare time, you will most likely find him spending time with his wife and two little ones.

  • DR SERINA MA

    SPECIALIST ORTHODONTIST

Dr Serina Ma is a specialist Orthodontist and local to the inner-west community.

Following her military career, she worked with rural indigenous communities in the Northern Territory and Bourke. Additionally she worked in private practice and as a part-time clinical tutor at the University of Sydney in the Oral Surgery Department.

When she isn’t thinking about smiles, Serina enjoys running with her husband and being out and about with her two young active children.

  • MS ASHLEY DIEP

    ORAL HEALTH TEHRAPIST

Ashley's dental career all began with her very own fear of the dentist due to her negative experiences as a child. This greatly inspired her to break the connotations between dentistry with fear in the clinic to create a safe and positive setting for everyone to be in.

Completing her Bachelor's degree at the University of Sydney and having a range of experience at both private and public clinics, she has developed a special passion for anxiety management for both children and adult dentistry.  Working directly alongside with our orthodontist Dr Serina Ma, Ashley strives to deliver high-quality preventative dentistry through her individualised tailored plan for each of her patients.

When she's not in the clinic focusing, you will always catch Ashley engaged in an array of fitness and outdoor activities or most likely on a holiday!

  • MS AMY WU

    ORAL HEALTH THERAPIST

Amy is a dedicated and passionate oral health therapist who joined our Smiles team as a dental assistant in 2021.
